95 Points

Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - Tasted blind, this wine had a purple/red center with red rims (that was quite dark for a Burgundy). The medium+ intensity nose put forth cherries, tan spices, rhubarb, and minerals.

In the mouth, this wine was still young and tight with huge acidity, rounded tannin, and great length.

This wine was very impressive. I would not hesitate to open it at breakfast for an evening tasting. It could well pick up 2-3 points with 10+ years in the cellar.
