Rape blackberry and boysenberry, hint of iodine, hint of soy sauce, hint of savory spice. Medium ++ to full-bodied and perfectly aged. Finished with aged blackberry character, but still enough of a youthful oak toasted tannin that kept this one very interesting. You really cannot ask much more from this wine than what this one gave today. You could keep this one in your cellar for another 10 years and it probably will change very little.
