Thursday, July 30, 2020 - A pale shadow of a true Bordeaux, this wine lacks power and balance. A mauve edge with a relatively pale core revealing a closed nose that opens more over an hour displaying cherries,blackcurrant and hession bag. Feels weak on the palate with some intensity of fruit. Moderate tannin and sometimes intrusive acid. A rather disjointed wine. A half bottle. Drunk at 15 degrees in Riedel Bordeaux glasses.
