Friday, July 31, 2020 - Inky purple core with crimson hues. Fairly typical bouquet for quality WA Bordeaux tribute wines. Pretty fruit, excessive oak. The wine's substance makes an impression, along with its overall balance. The 13.5 abv was especially appreciated. While far too lumber laden to be a preference, it is well made. It needs a few years to show its best.
