Friday, November 7, 2008 - Wine Guy Weekend Chez Doktas Take 2; 11/7/2008-11/8/2008 (Collingwood, Ontario): Earthy, cherry compote, fresh flowers, vanilla pomegranite, meat and dark chocolate with hints of tobacco came across the nose which needed coaxing to show all its stuffing. Palate is firm with good structure and tastes of morello cherries. Medium acidic bite gives it some edge. Still youthful but into into its drinking window. Elegant by powerful at the same time.
