Saturday, August 22, 2020 - 13% alcohol.The cork is of average length and it is soaked 3/4 of the way. Dark colour with some sign of ageing. The nose is rich with a definite oaky component and notes of undergrowth. The mouth is vivid, with flavours matching the aromas; very good length and plenty of acidity in the finish. The best thing about this wine is its silky mouthfeel.
For me, and not for the first time, the oak regimen is too heavy handed at this address.
Not a repeat purchase.
