Friday, August 21, 2020 - Sweet, floral nose of saffron, violet, and rose over a background of barbecue smoke. Palate shows bright flavours of spiced fruit (raspberry, blackberry, saffron, clove, nutmeg) over a subtle background of damp earth. Well-balanced, with moderate tannin and acidity, but the alcohol (14.5%) sticks out a bit.
