Monday, October 12, 2020 - Similar experience to the prior taster who thought his bottle was corked - that blew off after a few minutes and a nice straightforward CdP emerged. The bitter wet cardboard was particularly stressful because this was the third bottle in 24 hours of this wine, one from 15 and one from 16, then this from 16, and the first two WERE corked (believe me, 24 hours after opening, there was no doubt). This is actually kinda tannic, and I suspect another few years would do some good. Also right now at least a little muted, but classic southern rhone flavors, maybe a little sweet, but subtle gamyness and pretty ripe fruit.
