Saturday, October 31, 2020 - Our penultimate bottle, popped and poured. Here again, this definitely shows some age with a faded ruby color and bricking. Aromas of black cherry and rose, with orange and spice notes as well. Balanced. This is typically my favorite of the WesMar lineup- it's always so elegant and balanced. Plenty of fruit remains on the palate. Wild strawberry and nutmeg qualities emerged as the night wore on. Lovely. 92+ pts and again, at peak for my palate.
