Thursday, November 5, 2020 - Deep purple color. Perfumed nose. Medium full body. This is a very primary, inky, and powerfully tannic and acidic wine. Flavors of dark cherry, sour cherry, blackberry, and plum. This needs time. 2-3 years before getting anywhere near its drinking window. Then another 10+ years after that. This is one of the more prodigious Barbera''s I've encountered. A classic of the varietal in the making.
