Wednesday, November 11, 2020 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color, bordering on opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & cassis with lovely overtones of earthy/dusty with spice & herbal notes, cocoa, minerals & a slight hint of vanilla/oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with herbs, spices, minerals, cocoa, oak & vanilla. Lingering smooth & polished finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should continue to develop further with additional aging.
