Wednesday, November 11, 2020 - A big fleshy wine with dark cherry forward fruits, gripping tannins and a long finish with surprising notes of chocolate. Broad frame. I’m rating 90 now — I think this young wine need some time to knit together. It’s not quite yet in harmony. I’ll give it a couple years more and reevaluate. Much more like a California Cab Franc than French. Not the least bit lean, shy, or retiring.
