Friday, November 20, 2020 - From glass. Clear yellow. Cool, ever so slightly sweet breeze of smoke, lemons and flowers, and almost a lychee-like note - all together beautiful and full. Likewise on the palate: cool smoke with flowers, lemons and grapefruit, herbs, and a concentrated ball of these flavors and acidity that coalesces in midpalate and carries through on long finish. Persistence. Towards the end of the glass more marine and lemony, but wow, whatta chard.
