Friday, December 18, 2020 - I opened the bottle and let it sit for a while. The nose was red fruit. The palate was totally dominated by raspberry. I have noticed this in other Hobbs Hyde Pinots before and while I love eating them (raspberries) I do not find it pleasing in a bottle of wine. After a glass or so I put the cork back in the bottle and put it in the cooler will try it later tonight to see if there is any change. I am not rating it as i am sure for those who like this style of wine it is really good. Just not my style.
