DP Barcode #s, Pinot Noir, and Sweeties (DeeCee): Purplish red. Explosive nose with violets, potpourri and blackberries. Palate follows with floral and rich black fruits. While it was balanced, it needs just a bit more spine or acid for me. Very nice wine!
Tasted Blind. My 2nd, Group's 1st place.

Medium ruby. Bright cherries and leather on the nose. On the palate medium acidity high alcohol, pronounced deep ripe plums and blueberries, watermelon notes. Long finish. Comes on a bit over the top in terms of style.

We loved the pinot with copper river salmon. Pinot is never our go to sipping wine over a movie or TV night but this new world California pinot is ripe and delicious all the same.

Better than the bottle I had in December. While raspberry is still in the blend it was not as dominant as in previous bottles. This wine had a palate of mixed red berries and some baking spices. The finish was nice.

I opened the bottle and let it sit for a while. The nose was red fruit. The palate was totally dominated by raspberry. I have noticed this in other Hobbs Hyde Pinots before and while I love eating them (raspberries) I do not find it pleasing in a bottle of wine. After a glass or so I put the cork back in the bottle and put it in the cooler will try it later tonight to see if there is any change. I am not rating it as i am sure for those who like this style of wine it is really good. Just not my style.

Wonderful nose, Cherry and raspberry and a touch of vanilla on the palate. Fine velvety tannins, a balanced acidity, and a lingering finish. Voluptuous and gorgeous

Solid Pinot. Tried on a whim as I love the Cabs. Nose: crushed rose / violet, black cherries. Medium body, structured, light tannins, medium mouthfeel. Expressive, black cherries, muddled strawberries, hint of spices and a pleasant musk.

Modern style. Over extracted, bit of a fruit bomb.

Deep in color, drinks like a full bodied wine. Nice nose and legs. Did blind tasting and guessed a red blend.

Aromas of cherry and spice. Tastes of dry dark cherry, earth, licorice. Moderate acid and tannins. Firm but elegant and nuanced.
