Tuesday, December 29, 2020 - Very Light color with some brickiness, looks 15+ years old. Earth driven nose, with dry herbs and must. Light pretty wine with lots of tannin and long acid finish. Palate mostly earthy but there’s fruit there with all that tannin. Well made wine that should pair well with pasta and should age nicely 20 year
One hour later - as the wine opens up sweet fruit starts to show up. To me this is another indication that this wine is going to age very nicely
