Wednesday, January 6, 2021 - Opened four hours before dinner. On opening, it had the wild, sauvage character of Gevrey but the meatiness dissipated by dinner time. The savoury elements turned into a slightly sweet and airy character that made everyone think that they were in Chambolle. Elegant and red-fruited, this will appeal to those who like the ethereal kind of Burgundy from a more classic vintage. Good to go.
