Friday, January 8, 2021 - Opened in the bottle for seven plus hours. Softer and more approachable than expected but still a baby with sharp edges. Medium bodied, high acid, gripping tannins and a generous amount of sweet red fruit up front. Truffle, menthol, damp earth, and rose compliment. Always a sucker for this bottling. Give it time if you have the storage but already easier to enjoy than 13.
