Wednesday, January 13, 2021 - [Blind] Nose is smoky, lush, punchy, and has excellent graphite and stone. I'm getting subtle bell pepper weighing in favour of Cabernet Franc and keeping me in St. Émilion over Pomerol. Quite chocolatey too. Plate is juicy chocolate covered cherries and black fruit. Some very pleasant green herbaceousness to the nose as well. Delicious now but well built and clearly has over a decade to open up. Learned that this was opened last night and decanted at 09:00 this morning. 94 - 95.
