On the more advanced and oxidative end of the spectrum, not in line with previous 96-point encounters. Now, this was still pleasantly drinkable with lots in the way of caramel, butterscotch, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc., but lacking that blanc de blanc cream and fresh white and yellow fruit. Interestingly has seemingly very high acid. Deep gold colour in the glass. Pristine bottle in tissue paper from OWC.

[Magnum] Notes from memory last month, rich and dense, weighty and powerful but not overblown and not unduly advanced or oxidized. A perfect BYO magnum for an enormous seafood feast at a casual oyster house on the Sunshine Coast. 92 - 93.
[Blind] Consistent showing to the 11/11/22 note, also blind, also excellent. Chai and spicy tea. Lifted, ethereal, hauntingly beautiful. Sweetness to the red fruit, '85 is a good guess. Completely integrated / resolved. Imagine this is about peak performance / perfect drinking, wouldn't hold on much longer than five years. Beautiful, excellent bottle.

11/11/2015 10:19:00 AM - Nice! Great lineup by the way. Also you have some of the most helpful perspectives on Truchot bottles that I have come across. Cheers!
11/9/2015 9:48:00 AM - Pretty close, but slightly farther North: River's Inlet, British Columbia.

11/8/2015 2:01:00 PM - Was your profile picture taken along the Chuckanut in Bellingham, WA? Pretty sure I can see Dot Island and Portage in the background.
