Friday, January 29, 2021 - It's been four years since I last tasted this, when it was (in retrospect) in a spotty phase, and a bit unwieldy. Today it is really singing, comfortably on its plateau of maturity, marrying elegance and weight, freshness and ripeness, a beautiful reflection of the richness of the vintage and the finesse of the terroir. Aromatic nose with ripe (but not / no longer tropical) Riesling fruit, flowers and spices, easily flowing palate with gentle bitters, and a complete and long finish. Drink now - 2024.
