Saturday, January 30, 2021 - Second bottle. Similar as first one. I slowoxed for 6 hours and then another 4 in the decanter. Still black as night, great legs and faint nose. This is just a lean wine that’s on the tannic side, not the fruit side. This is why I bought only one case from the 2011 vintage. Chianti should be generous with fruit and framed with nice tannin and acid to balance rich food. Average at best.
