Saturday, February 13, 2021 - Upon opening this was a bit tight on the nose and palate. Nose remained somewhat restrained but showed game, forest and spice. The palate really rounded out over the evening and went from being somewhat tight and perhaps even astringent to a very lovely wine of depth and sweet (in a good way) fruit. Powerful, but lovely balance. Only going up from here - probably best from 2025 on.
