Sunday, February 14, 2021 - Bought out of a bargain bin a the local grocery store for $13 a year ago. Been holding in my cellar. Served with beef bourguignon. Decanted for an hour. Aromas of raspberry jam, wild bramble berry, spice, tobacco, currant, and peppercorn. Wow. Really nice bouquet. Well integrated, balanced and smooth. Drink now. Great example of classical california merlot under $50.
