Does not like this wine:

Thursday, March 4, 2021 - 12.5% alcohol. Very good long cork with no wine penetration. Decanted an hour ahead. Deep colour with some thinning but no bricking at the rim. Plenty of deposit in the glass in spite of the decanting.
The nose is the best part (after quite a while in the glass), with fleeting aromas of dark cherries and olives, but you have to work hard to get these. The mouth is much more anonymous with a rustic quality and a rough finish.
I did not like this wine three years ago, but I had some (limited) hope that time would soften its rough edges. Unfortunately that did not happen. This bottle does not speak of Northern Rhône to me, and maybe not even of Syrah; given that, the Ecocert label is of little significance. I dumped the rest of the bottle, and I can't remember ever doing that for a wine that is not objectively faulty.
Not a success as far as I am concerned. Blacklisted.
