Friday, March 19, 2021 - deep purple colored / nose: intense, ripe strawberries, graphite, caramel, wood, stony / palate: medium acidity, medium bodied, medium tannins, good length, red and dark fruits, wood / overall: a very beautiful and elegant Rioja. Compared to the Remelluri San Vicente 2016 I prefer the Labastida because it is less rustic, longer and more complex. 8,5/10 (special plus for complexity)
