Tuesday, March 23, 2021 - Aerated to decanter for 2 hours the night before, returned to bottle and served blind to friends; enjoyed over nearly three hours. On day two this was, for our palates, full, interesting, complete, complex, dark red-fruited, and elegant though in a nicely subtle, clearly vintage inflected way. Some cinnamon and leather mingled with soil and forest notes emerging by the second glass adding even more interest. Lovely, with air, though I think it's best to hold for 2-3 years, at least. Not an ager, so to speak. For its full potential, it's highly recommended
