Wednesday, March 24, 2021 - Francois Mikulski Bourgogne Blanc 2015

Color: very light gold and very clear/clean looking.

Bouquet: lemon peel and lemongrass, savory buttery biscuit and honey. Some gunpowder and pencil lead, especially when first opened.

Body: very youthful. Bracing acidity even after 4 days open. Clean and piercing lemon and mandarin. Powerful minerals, with limestone at the forefront and mouthwatering iodine at the close. Finishes with youthful acid and light alcohol burn.

Reminiscent of a 1er Cru Chablis.

Serve at cellar temperature and give time to open. Shows no sign of oxidation and should last several years (March 2021).
