Color: very light gold and very clear/clean looking.
Bouquet: lemon peel and lemongrass, savory buttery biscuit and honey. Some gunpowder and pencil lead, especially when first opened.
Body: very youthful. Bracing acidity even after 4 days open. Clean and piercing lemon and mandarin. Powerful minerals, with limestone at the forefront and mouthwatering iodine at the close. Finishes with youthful acid and light alcohol burn.
Reminiscent of a 1er Cru Chablis.
Serve at cellar temperature and give time to open. Shows no sign of oxidation and should last several years (March 2021).

Hey bro, for $20, who could complain. Lemon and some white stone notes. Round without being too plush or soft. Just enough acid to keep it all in focus. Bottle was gone before we knew it. It’s decidedly not a 1er Cru, but it’s also not just a throwdown nuthin either. A go-to weekday sipper all day long. Drink now and over the next year or two. 90-91 points.

From plots planted in 1986 and 2005 on the edge of the Meursault vineyard. This I think needs to be left. Drunk over 8 nights - and better and better each night. Patience required.

No nose, no structure, no finish. Very, very disapointing. First time in my life I ordered a new wine after the first glass. My wife completely agreed. Bottle variation? Perhaps. But my gut tells me this is an overrated wine.

Curious to try this Burgundy white ... so I popped the cork and had a taste.
- Nose : very neutral, timid, anonymous, with some air a bit grassy, canned fruit syrup - Taste : quite greasy, juicy, mineral, full, a bit of petrol - Finish : its best feature, nicely balanced acidity, pear, salty, quite long finish as well
Very nice, but this white wine requires a meal ... some baked white fish with a butter sauce !

Nase: cremig, Birne, Sternfrucht. Im Geschmack bestätigt sich all das und dazu kommt noch eine leicht unreife Ananas, Butter, Maracuja, Gras und Zitrone. Er hat eine gewisse Komplexität - uns stört leider etwas die leicht unreife Ananas.

Holy bejesus! This rocks the shoes of an old man, if you measure by what you give and what you get!
Lychee, stonefruit, mango, pear and peach in the nose..
After some air the palate will give you minerality smoke (flint stone smoke, if you will). Even more peach and unripe pear appear. This is definitely gonna be a singer in 2 years time! With oysters or shellfish wowsa!

Significantly past its prime which was kind of expected but i was curious as this wine has always outperformed its price point.

I fully agree with the note of CSIMM1161!
Had more expensive Chardonnays which could not provide enjoyable drinking as this one.

Fine Vines Fall 2019 Portfolio Tasting (City Winery - Chicago IL): Walk-around tasting, brief note. Floral start with ripe apple on nose and palate. Rich throughout with a fat finish that makes me think this best to enjoy young.
