Thursday, April 8, 2021 - Well, six years on, and this is drinking much better than my first one, thankfully, although, airtime is bringing in a little more dark fruited nature. Fairly opaque coloring here, with garnet edges and clear meniscus. Aromas of dark red and black fruits, blueberry, black cherry, graphite minerality, some woody notes of black tea, cedar, and leather, orange peel, and crushed rocks. Medium body and finish, medium (+) acid, and flavors of black cherry, plum, lemon, orange peel, and other juicy citrus notes on the finish. Overall, much improved, and enjoyable.
