Saturday, April 24, 2021 - Tasted at the winery. Very deep dark fruit on the palate with just a hint of tobacco. Medium-plus tannins with medium-plus body and medium-to-medium-low acidity. Warm ripe dark fruit that was almost a bit raisiny, with some noticeable cedar notes. For my taste, there was a lack of freshness on the palate that left a bit of lingering heaviness. Certainly enough tannins to age.
