Color: Deep dark red Aroma / bouquet: Soft, almost fragile bouquet but - unlike August 2020 - not 'over the top'. A leftover of dried fruit, but it is mainly the earthy aromas that dominate at this stage. After some relief, the wine acquires some smoky accents. Taste / Finish: Soft acidity, buttery tannins. The taste returns the earthy and soft smoky notes. Soft, pleasant wine in the last stage. Pleasant and above-average long finish. General / potential: Beautifully ripened Pomerol in the final phase.
