Sunday, June 6, 2021 - This showed excellent. Both stony and citrusy, with lime and toast, framed by a complex and stony finish. The balance here was spot on, and measured against the 2012 Cristal, it for me was head and shoulders above that wine. It was also one of the best wines of the day that we were poured, for me tied with the 2014 Marie Courtin Efflorescence. Gotta say, the 168 was really good yesterday.

6/14/2021 3:38:00 AM - Tell me more I intend to get 2 Cristal 2012 and 2 Krug 168em for my friends celebration with rest of the year. I personally like Cristal but love to hear your opinion with contrast to Krug 168em more.

6/18/2021 10:47:00 AM - Hi there. I'd really want to taste them side by side to get you the kind of answer I would like to give you. But, short of that happening, I have just found the 2012 Cristal to not have the extra gear or wow factor that I consistently have found in the 168. For my money, and I may be in the minority here, I would rather spend it on 168, without a doubt.
