Sunday, June 6, 2021 - If the bottle is < $15, I say this is a good option. The taste profile will appeal to those who like unoaked (my preference) or oaked. And to expand on the last part of that statement, this wine does have very muted honey and baked apple; it’s just overall a bit more “fuller body” than most unoaked Chardonnay’s. But this wine is certainly not oaked. Confused? Yeah, me too.

On the palate, there is very nice acidity with green apple, ripe pear, and a nice undertone of honey and baked apple. Again, a bit for everyone to enjoy. Nice and long finish.

9/18/2021 3:18:00 PM - THANK you for your TIME in composing this pondering, VERY thoughtful TN! 🙂 I've sent a query to the U.S. Distributor re whether or not this undergoes malolactic fermentation, which may well be what you find confusing 'bout the style. 🤔 At any rate, should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. (Check wine-searcher’s Vendors & Reviews pgs for “pro” input.) 😉
