Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - Deep amber in colour. Marzipan and marmalade on the nose. Unctuous on the palate but maybe less so than in the past. There is balancing acidity so the wine is not cloying in the mouth. Flavours of honey and orange marmalade on the palate. Not much in the way of complexity but delicious and easy drinking. Drunk over a couple of nights with steamed treacle pudding, various cheeses and by itself.
