Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - Lightly chilled and then decanted just before dinner. Lively on first pour but the decant really knocked the bubbles out when it came into the glass. The nose is instantly alive, with green apples, a dash of citrus and some nougat. Round body but not overly rich, with bright fruit married with light toffee. Definitely dry and great with food. Much more enjoyable than the 2006 but without the stuffing of the 2002. This will improve but is drinking really nicely now.
