Friday, July 23, 2021 - Had to bring for a non-Italian loving friend who drinks very high end Napa, he said it was really good. 4-hour pre-decant then decanted again at restaurant before pairing with rack of lamb and a moroccan goat ragu. Magnificent aromas of sweet green herbs dominated nose with eucalyptus + anise, palate contained so much delicious balanced complex cherry-berry fruit, sweet tobacco, licorice, white chocolate, and mocha. Tannins still present but air time clearly helped. Sold 1 of these and only 1 left, need to wait at least 2 yrs, 5 if I can find the willpower.
