Wednesday, July 28, 2021 - 2.5h air, but I doubt most, if any, of that was really necessary. Medium-deep ruby color. Aromas of strawberry, blackberry, pepper, clay, cured meat and chocolate. Smooth and succulent on the palate, with flavors of red and black berry, significant spiciness in the mid palate and hints of blueberry and anise in the lingering finish. A scaffold of sinewy tannins and edgy acidity provide ample structure for this seductive and developed CdR. In a great place right now, and really shines in the finish.
