Friday, August 13, 2021 - O....M....G...what a brilliant bottle! Last had this out of Mag 7yrs ago, great then, but simply amazing tonight! Gorgeous shimmering green and gold color...nose of the sea...crushed limestone chalk, lemon blossoms, wet stones, fresh pitted orchard fruit bowl. Just SCREAMS Chablis! So bright and juicy in the mouth with the best orchard fruits...CUT with zippy fresh squeeze citrus, tart green apple skin...and that mineral limestone chalk dust, crushed oyster salinity is to DIE FOR! No signs of age...maybe a little honey butter with total integration. Such purity, seamless balance...a ride on a race boat going 80, in the smooth and calmest of waters...this is what Chablis is all about!
