Sunday, September 5, 2021 - Popped and poured. Dark purple color. Really nice nose of blackberry jam, cassis, toasted oak, a bit of peppery spice. Similar flavors on the palate with some toasty oak and chocolate on the finish. Medium+ acid and tannin. Drinking very well right now with a smooth mouthfeel and long finish. Was surprised with how good this was since I normally do not favor petite sirah.
