Monday, September 13, 2021 - Amazing how this wine has changed over the last two years. Decanted an hour before dinner and from that pour deep notes of dark cherry and cassis emerged. As dinner progressed the wine seemed to lose the massive nose of dark fruit. A very balanced wine emerges with a smooth finish with a solid tannic bite. Would imagine this wine will have a number of years left to go. Can’t go wrong opening now, but could be rewarded with a couple more years of cellaring.
