Saturday, September 18, 2021 - Only my second experience with this sensational producer and once again I am extremely impressed…especially in a weak vintage like 2011. Raspberries, pyrazines, notes of leather. Garnet in colour, no orange on the rim after 10 years. Lots of finesse, almost Pinot Noiresque. Perfectly balanced and very refreshing. Violet on the extremely long finish. Beautiful! Enjoy now, I don’t see any reason to wait any longer…even though it should remain on this plateau for several years.
