Monday, September 20, 2021 - Trying to taste some 2019s to get a feel for them as they come into the market... this is tight and young, but has plenty of promise; the nose is full of red berry fruits, flora notes, and a bit of minerality. The palate has a hint of spritz or something initially that disappears pretty quickly and then shows lovely bright fruit and mineral notes. Good concentration and length, but tightens up and likely needs 2-4 years to really come into its own.

Wow this is much better on day 2. The nose is similar, but has a bit darker tone to the fruit. The palate however has another level of depth and balance that wasn't there. It flows and has a richness, but also still feels sinewy and light. Long finish. If drinking young I'd decant for several hours, but ideally wait a couple years on this.
