Friday, October 15, 2021 - From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose generated apricot, apple, honey, and mineral notes.

In the mouth, this wine was quite ripe with crisp acidity and very good length. Several blind tasters guessed Burgundy. However, while the texture was somewhat like a white Burg, the flavor profile was not.

Amazingly, this took a couple hours to open up. While it would need a bit more complexity on the mid-palate to be elite, it was a special and enjoyable wine.
