Saturday, October 30, 2021 - My first bottle of 6 I had in the back of my wine cellar. Deep garnet color with a tinge of orange. The bottle hasn't even thrown off any sediment to speak of. I decanted for an hour and a half. The nose was blackberry and black raspberry. Slight current and even some camphor. The wine was extremely well balanced with moderate acidity and very smooth tannin. From beginning to the long finish totally enjoyable. Paired with lamb shank. After 3 hours the wine opened up even more. Ready to drink and should last several more years.
