Thursday, November 4, 2021 - Decanted. Now 2.5h after decant. Aromas of bright red cherries, bright blackberries, herbs and spices. Palate w interesting balance of bright, almost but not quite jolly rancher type red cherries, blackberries balanced nicely by savory stems, herbs and spices. Mild tannins on midpalate w excellent acids. Nice moderately long finish. Hits a nice balance of quaffability and just enough complexity to keep one's interest. Definitely a step or 2 down from his Morgon Cote du Puy and other crus, but pretty darn tasty nonetheless.
