95 Points

Monday, November 1, 2021 - First time with Lafon Montrachet and I absolutely loved this. Great bottle that showed similarly to ripe vintages of DRC. Reduced, ripe, a little oily, and trends a little in the botyritis direction. A little bombastic in a way I like out of top white Burgundy. Fresh. Loads of staying power. Mouth coating. Don't know what oxidization risk is like on these, I imagine quite high as the '10 alongside was dead, so also imagine that now is a good time to open these.
