My favorite red wine tonight. Ripe black cherry and plum with more sweet than savory spice. On the opulent side for Grand Cru Burgundy, but this certainly has the structure to retain its balance and elegance, but the tannins, acidity and mineral components of the structure all contribute in nuanced and engaging ways. Incredibly long finish. Certainly good for at least another decade.
