Sunday, December 5, 2021 - Beautiful nose of wild strawberries, pomegranate, rose petals and minerals. Elegant and perfumed and precise. The palate begins with red fruits and red florals. There is a nice depth and the fruit is sweet and fresh. I've been drinking the Goodfellow 19's lately and I find that this has a bit more of what I look for than the current vintage. It's very lithe But as we go towards the finish this shows a bit of heat - although I need to tasted it again tomorrow to confirm. Still, this is very beautiful and pleasing - with tart red fruits in the finish. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi -1/2 = 16.5/20.

Day 3: Just a tiny bit left - more resolved with beautiful wild strawberry, red florals, touch of cinnamon, and herbal/stems. Classic and poised and lovely.
