Sunday, December 12, 2021 - appearance is dark and opaque. enticing fruit forward nose of currant, raisin, plum, chocolate and spice. palate is smooth and silky, perfectly balanced. a nice level of sweetness and some woody spicy notes make themselves apparent as well. this will be good for a number of years but is drinking beautifully at the moment.
